I was opposed to Pee Pads when I first got her but I quickly learned that I needed them. Sophie Kate will not tell me when she has to go, so we are on a schedule and we keep the schedule. She knows if she has to go and it we are inside she is to use the pad.
I also use the washable pads, I change them often and if she happens to poop on the pad I flush and change it immediately. She doesn't do that often since I think she knows her schedule and she should do that outside (well I think she does). Regarding the cat and the litter box, just recently I have began to suspect that perhaps Avery the cat is using the pee pads also. 1, the odor is stronger than normal and 2, the pads are wet and I know Sophie Kate has not been out of my sight. I will give Avery the cat a break, he is old and at least he is using the pad and not something else. |
Oh, that's so interesting; I never thought of that, I would much prefer that over cleaning a litter box.
