Most vets will agree that 8 weeks is ok but that is a general answer and its an ok age for bigger dogs but any one who does research into the small dog breeds will find out 8 weeks is just not good. They are still learning important things from there mothers. You still have not answered if you will be able to have someone with this pup all of the time because if you can't it could very much risk your pups life.
