The lady said she was a registered breeder- which I know she wasn't because he isn't purebred. Something from the get go made us go *hmmmm* but when we went to go get him, it was clean, the puppies were happy and active and she had other pets- it seemed fine. Plus we fell in love. But since, I've noticed she has posted 3 additional litters. That seems like alot. I'm concerned that she is impregnating the mothers too much and I wonder what that does to the babies. Is there anything I need to watch for? The vet said he was healthy. I've had health concerns with previous dogs and I don't want to see anything happen to this little guy. His eyes tear alot. Is that normal as well? Besides that, he is active and eating well. I adore him. |
Hi there! welcome to YT and congrats on your new furbaby!! She could still be a registered breeder ,mixing her breeds...Maybe want she meant by "registered" is that her dogs are registered...Unfortunately alot of people breed for the money...not the love of the breed or to better the breed. This woman sounds like she's in it for the money....which is sad... It's more taxing on the mother having litter after litter than on the pups...very sad...but A LOT of people do this....If your vet gave your little guy a clean bill of health I would go with that!....
