My Halo was diagnosed with Addison's almost 2 yrs. ago. She takes prednisone daily and has her shot every 25 days. In addition to that, she has a thyroid problem and takes a pill for that everyday. He has been doing great since her treatment. My advise; moniter her food. The steroid will really pack the weight on if you're not careful, and it also makes them drink lots of water. Halo is a big girl about 11.5 lbs. I feed her about 3/4 cup of Chicken Soup Light per day; breaking it into 2 feedings. I have 5 other yorkies, so I do feed her behind the baby gate cause she'll eat her food then go after the others. Good luck with your baby.
