It is not crazy. You were a child...no offense intended...but expected to care for a newborn as if you were settled into adulthood. I was 22 before my first was born and 26 when my second arrived, but I got my first Yorkie-Poo when I was 12-14 (don't remember how old exactly...I was just a kid, after all
) until I lost him at 24 and he 'completed' me even then for all the same reasons you describe. The 2 Yorkies have now light that same fire. It is a sickness...Yorkie-itis...from which one
never recovers!
