I think it's "supposed" to be a no no with chowhounders and the like to put hot sauce on RAW oysters. I say if you like seafood, eat it anyway you damn please! I don't care!
However, I tried a fried oyster po boy, and I didn't like it.

I prefer the soft, slimy slide down your throat texture of a raw oyster. Cooked, I prefer mussels. LOL
