I am sorry she is having the growths. I would definitely see another vet. If you have taken her a few times and he "THINKS" it is probably tumors I would think he would test to know for sure. You could be worrying that it is a cancerous tumor but it might be something else. It could be something else and by waiting it could get worse. Why thyroid medicine if he is not sure there is a thyroid problem or did he diagnose her with a thyroid problem. Could she have an abcess from something that went wrong with the tooth cleaning. The infection might cause swelling in the neck area and she could be getting sick from the infection. Please take her to another vet just to be sure. At least then you will know you were her very best guardian and advocate. I hope you find out what is truly wrong with Pepper please do not be so scared of the diagnosis that you do not check to find out what it really is.
