I have a nine year old female, Pepper, who is very ill. She only weighed 2.5 pounds before she was sick and, I'm sure, weighs much less now. She has growths on either side of her neck--two on one side and one on the other. I've taken her to the vet several times, had her teeth cleaned, she took ten days of antibiotics, and now the vet has her on thyroid medicine to see if it helps. The growths seem to be getting bigger and now seem to meet in the front of her neck. Has anyone had any experience with something like this?? The vet thinks it's probably tumors, and I can only guess that they are malignant.

I've been feeding her whatever she wants--the last few days it has been Vienna sausages...she didn't eat at all on Wednesday, but has eaten really well yesterday and today.
