My dd just finished her college speech class last semester. I can already tell she got a lot out of it even though she says it was pretty easy.

If your son likes to fish, he can do a presentation on tying a knot (like tying a lure to the line correctly.....there are hundreds of different knots and I bet he knows a few). He could take a bobber or a weight instead of a lure so it does not pose any danger. Also, if he wanted to do something more with that topic, take pictures of him doing it at home and present the visual via slide show or video. Just a thought.
