I have to be leaning over and put my palm face down and practically touch the ground for him to do it. I hope he will eventually learn to lay down without following my hand. But, he does lay down and stays down for a sec and I give him his treat while he's still in position.
Want to practice "shake". Do you just get them in "sit" and say "shake" as you grab their paw then give treat?
Thanx in advance. I'm checking out youtube channel's I was given too. | You are doing Down Command correctly.... My Ella Bella learned Down yesterday... Hurray
Down Command Down - YouTube! You may have to take his paw the first few times for Shake, with plenty of praise before he gets it down pat.
