I will persist with the sweaters!
Regarding him getting excited about everyone but me, I know I shouldn't take it personally. In fact, the trainer reminded me I don't want him too crazy and jumping all over me out of control. I'm telling my guests to ignore him until he calms down once they are in the door. I want him to greet people politely eventually and not be barking and trying to dart at/out the door.
And he is a mama's boy. Even if he likes to be left alone at times, he does come to me when he wants attention or I call his name. If you want to find him too, look no further than under/beside my chair when he's exhausted. He does cuddle and sleep next to my stomach for a few hrs in the morning at least. He sleeps in a crate for now, but once he goes pee I put him in bed with me and we sleep a few hrs before getting up.
