I groomed Nibblet today! And she doesn't even look like the doggie equivalent of the kid with a bowl cut kitchen hair cut! She gets her stitches out on Wednesday from her "spa visit"(aka: spay) so I'll give her a bath after that, but she really needed a trim. I got the straight scissors and the ones with the butterfly (balled?) ends to cut around her eyes, ears and face. I think she looks pretty good! I spent a good hour in the store reading the backs of the scissors to see which ones to get, and I figured if Martha can have her own pair of scissors, so can I! (Although I suspect she's not grooming her own dog
)
I hoping this will help get her used to the grooming process as well, because on her grooming report card, she got bad marks because apparently she likes to wrap herself around your neck like a muffler!
I hope when she's able to go back to Doggie Day Care that the other dogs won't say, "Ooo Snap! You let your Mom cut your hair, didn't you?"
