Ha ha ha!
Elvis does nothing!
He knows some basic commands but he doesn't do any tricks.
He will occasionally sit or walk or dance when the other two are asked to do a trick for a treat and he will randomly perform with them, but because of his arthritis I don't really make him do the agility or tricks.
Getting him okay with a leash was enough.
Scoobers on the other hand:
dance
dance pretty
find Milo (where's Milo)
sit
stay
roll over
bang (like play dead but he's not so great at it)
he can identify all his toys on command
put his toys away (clean up still working on it)
over & back (part of agility)
lay down
treat on nose
up pose (he will jump on a chair or stool and then sit up front paws folded and on his back legs only all circus style)
alarm clock (he wakes his boy up when the alarm goes off every morning)
get it (he knows this mean find the moth-I know Milo taught him, but he is a mighty moth hunter)
probably a few more random things but that's the jist of it and Scoobers knows these with both verbal and a silent hand signal. I love the hand signals it makes him look all officially trained (he always gets ear infections so his hearing can be an issue) it just looks so cool to give a hand signal and have your dog perform.
Now if I could just get him to settle down and recall.... |
