There were a couple of threads that talked about getting pups that were only about 4-6 weeks old and yet they believed they they were more like 8-12 until they got to the vet. Yorkies are expensive, and they are a living breathing commitment that hopefully you have for at least 10 years. So when I read these threads I can't help but screaming the question why would you spend less time researching the breed and how to purchase it then you would if you were buying a smart phone or a laptop. I can't accept that someone would say, I was walking by a pet store and this dog caught my eye, or there was a shopping cart full of cute puppies and I could not resist a a pair of them. Sure I might go to the grocery store for milk and in a moment of weakness buy a chips and a chocolate cake, but not a frigging puppy!!!
