I didn't see any blood, no. I am hoping and praying that the dog did run off and that it was found quickly so that it could be taken to the vet. I just don't know what happened to them, dog and owner just disappeared! I had my MIL with me and couldn't really stick around as I had to get her home. I'm just thankful that she wasn't hurt by the sudden stop. WHY do people think that it's okay to walk their dog without a leash, let alone on a busy road. I think I'm probably going to have nightmares about this for some time. I ran over a squirrel once and that had me upset for a long time, as I just love all animals and feel that each one is valuable and their lives mean something, you know? Sigh.
