That is a good point, I never thought about that. That would be hard to see them and have just a blank stare... I've never lost a pet that I was really attached to. Peanut is my first dog. I mean I have had cats growing up that we had for 14-15 years, but I didn't have the bond I have with them that I have with Peanut.

I know I will be a basket case when Peanut goes, I just hope and pray I get him for 14 years. I can't even get myself ready for something like that- I have lost a lot of close family members, My Dad, both grandparents on my Mom's side, and my Gpa on my Dad's side, so I know how to deal with that, but loosing a pet seems very different- its scary
