Thanks as always for your concern for our sweet Baby bella. Today, I've fed Bella every 3 hours around the clock. She is still not eating voluntarily. Prying that ring mouth open is a chore! I found the goats milk and she loves it!! We were amazed that she actually drank the milk on her own after I fed her!! She's had two doses of the goats milk. Her next feeding is in 20 minutes. She's still on both antibiotics- albon snd metrozonadol (sp). Those of you who've had experience with Coccidia, can you tell me how long before you saw improvements in behavior once the antibiotics started? The vet says she can put her back on IV fluids if we choose or we can keep caring for her at home. Bella is still pooping diarrhea, today with blood in the stool. No clots or bright red blood. This is her fourth day with diarrhea. I'm sure her little bottom is sore. How often should I give her the goats milk? I want this baby to feel better soon. I see other healthy puppies and it just breaks my heart for Bella.
I'm hanging in there I suppose... The tears seem to keep coming.
