I recently had to use the A/D diet. I wanted to continue the diet because my injured elderly rescue was responding so well to the high calorie diet. My vet didn't want me to continue the high calorie, high fat, high protein diet for a long time due the risk of pancreatitis. Maybe the combo of A/D and peanut butter is too much of a good thing. I have used the goat's milk must as a transition from nursing puppies to weaning. Also, I sustained a cleft pallet puppy with goats milk for 2 weeks before a tube feeding accident claimed him. Hope your little pup does better soon.
