Not everyone is knowledgeable about puppy mills and where pet store puppies come from (in most cases). Our Ginger, who is 8 now, came from a small independent pet store in Nebraska. The puppies came from a 'breeder' in Missouri. After knowing more about pet store puppies and puppy mills, I believe she came from a puppy mill. She has been a good pet and we love her very much! She is probably the healthiest and most physically fit of our dogs too. You just never know. We are glad we have her and she is a member of our family, no matter what. She was our first small dog, and our first yorkie. Having her is what made us get Maggie, our other yorkie who will be 3 this month. We also have a 2 year old maltese named Lilly. All because we loved Ginger so much that we wanted other dogs similar to her. They are all wonderful dogs!
