Obviously it's not the pup's fault he is from a puppy mill. I'm sure he is adorable and sweet. I hope you don't find genetic problems down the road. AKC papers mean nothing concerning the quality of the dog. Most puppy mills have so many litter registration forms that they can switch them around and use them as they please. AKC is simply an agency for registering pure bred litters and although they try to keep people from misusing their services they have nothing to do with they quality of the pup. It is impossible to police how dishonest breeders use the AKC registration slips.
