Do you keep your pups until 12 weeks? I could not imagine. The attachment by that time would be horrible. I let them go generally at 7-8 weeks. I make sure they have their shots and eating okay, and all that. All breeders here where I live let them go at 6 weeks of age. I bought both of my dogs when they were that age. The only thing I know about ancestry is what my girl dog's parents looked like, both were blond, and the male, his parents were tiny, well so I was told, but I never met the parents for him. I know generally what they will look like, because my family kept two of her past puppies. They are light colored and standard size. Well about what all yorkie sizes are in this area. It doesn't matter, I decided to not keep one. It's just difficult to see all those cute little turks and not want to keep them all! What fun that would be huh. |
