I am very sorry to hear about your lost dog. It is very hard to lose our babies...I know. I also understand 'swearing' you'll never have/want another dog and finding out you were wrong! hee...hee
I have known a few, but I have never been owned by a Pom...I have a friend who has one...but I have been owned by a Yorkie-Poo and two Yorkies, as well as other breeds and mixes, all rescues, or re-homed. I, of course, am very much in love with the breed.
You will find lots of info here on YT, plus you can go to the AKC website, the YTCA website, and the APC website for info to see which breed fits your lifestyle best, which you think is right for you, and let your heart be your guide.
