Aymee, did you see my post on your last thread, it's about the cone, my girl was freaked out by the cone more than anything, you may be on to something with what you made for her, if you read my post I tried to do something similar only LOL with duck tape. The licking and picking at the incision in my experience was the worst part, the better they start feeling the more the wound must start to bother them. about a week after surgery I did not duck tape her outfit together and while I was not watching she managed to pick all by one of her stitches out, I want rushing back to the vet who say wow she healed pretty quick, just leave it alone and try not to let her get to active, so that little bugger dodged a bullet and took her own stitches out early.
BTW I looked at your scrapbooking web site, LOVE the photos of the stuff you have done, you are VERY talented, do you sell things like notebooks, address books, or boxes already put together, and if so do you have any dog themed things. (sorry did not mean to get off track from the topic) |
