I love Minksheen. But I only use on the girls during the summer. It does have a smell that is not for everyone. I think it probably does have a more woodsy scent. Two others that I like is Yorkie Splash and Shine and for a detangler the Yorkie Sheen. Yorkie Splash and Yorkie Shine | Yorkie Shampoo and Yorkie Conditioner

I don't think either of these have an overpowering smell and not woodsy at all.
