Default She's Home.

Gianna is home and is safe. She took a 100 percent turn around from when we saw her on Friday. You would not know she was the same dog. She is sitting on my lap as I type this. She can now walk without issues, just a bit unsteady (She fell over in the water dish) but I think it is due to being weak more then anything. It is hard to see in pictures but she really is just skin and bones. I gave her a bath and trimmed her up some, but didn't want to do too much on her, but she was filthy. The vet hospital was going to bathe her this morning before we picked her up, but it is soooo cold. I told them to leave her and I'd give her a bath, blow dry her and let her sit by the fire. She LOVES bully sticks. She chewed on that stick the whole car ride. I had to just be careful and not let her chew it where pieces would come off because the vet said bland diet of maybe Science Diet ID or some boiled chicken. She scoffed the chicken down. Poor thing is so hungry.

Only issue I see and it may be because she's still not feeling well, is she does not seem to like other dogs. My crew are very easy going and one by one they came to see her and she growled at them. She may have to be placed without other dogs. She loves people and wants to be with you.

Here are some pictures of right before we gave her a bath and one while she is getting a bath. I'll post some after pictures too, just want to let her rest for awhile.
