Spoke to the vet hospital this morning. Gianna (The name that one of the woman gave her) is doing GREAT. She said she is a little more perky, and was eating on her own. They keep her upright to eat so it goes down easier. I'm told (and I saw that right away when I was with her) that she is very sweet with everyone and everything. She's out of ICU (Yippy!!). No surprise but no one has stepped forward to claim her. We will call in the morning and will be picking her up tomorrow early. Has to be early as I have work at 4pm and they are close to two hours from us. I will take her to my own vet on Tuesday or Wed, depending on which day they can get me in. Thanks for the good vibes and prayers, obviously they are working so please keep them coming for this little girl.

Also wanted to say, that since she was so skinny, emaciated really, yet seemed to have been kept groomed, I scanned the lost ads on Petfinder all the way back to summer and found one in September and took a shot and wrote them. Have not heard anything back so hopefully for them they found their girl. It was a bit of a distance from where she was but still in the north jersey vicinity. Also, been scanning Craig's list as well as the North Jersey newspapers. Just hate to think that maybe just maybe she was loved and just lost and somoene may either not know how to search or may be searching just in the wrong spots. Will keep you all posted.

I think this is a good lesson for all of us, including myself about Microchipping. Some of mine are, but all of them will be now.
