I pick her up on Thursday and already have my vet visit scheduled for Friday! Thank you all. I know you aren't being rude, I appreciate how much you all care for my puppy and I already! |
Congratulations on your new puppy!
We are all concerned because we know that puppies learn so much from the mom and littermates between the ages of 8-12 weeks. Things like bite inhibition, some learn potty training, also at 8 weeks, Yorkie puppies are prone to hypoglycemic attacks, which are life threatening. You'll have to watch her for that. At 12 weeks, the puppies are better able to regulate their own sugar, and many times episodes stop completely.
This is the recommendation of the YTCA (I think) as they have research to back this up.
This is the last I will say... I don't want to harp on you...
How long does this breeder guarantee the health of this puppy?
Also, most all insurances require that you pay up front, then wait to get reimbursed.
