She did go over all the possible causes of encephalitis, however because the spinal tap was inconclusive they said they cannot know what triggered it unless they do an autopsy.
The vet proposed to take an aggressive approach and treat with the chemo pills but we would not be sure of the results for months.
The alternative is to keep her on the liquid cortisone which she is definitely responding to given its reducing the inflammation, hopefully this will give her the time she needs to combat whatever caused this.
Its been almost 48 hours since she came back home, she is falling alot less, when visitors come she gets excited and is able to take care of her self except when she poops, she loses balance and sometimes it gets messy but nothing a little butt wash wont fix
