Sorry I'm not much help, but couldn't resist.
Harley has his own room (it's supposed to be an office, but don't tell Harley that), so usually at the end of the night when I put him to bed, I just chuck all his toys in his room, he has a monstrous pile all over the place in there.
What if you got a larger dog bed, that was soft, yet was deep enough to hold toys, you know the ones with the walls all around except the front. Then she could go in grab a toy and come back out... not sure how well it'd work, but maybe?
