Okay, thank you everyone for the comments! My mom picked up Bailey around 5 today and said that the vet walked her out in the lobby on her leash and she looked normal, just looking around. Mom brought her home and made her crate extra cozy and gave her a treat (which she didn't eat until I got home from work). When I got here, she sat up a bit and started wagging her tail. i took her out of the cage and she was loving on me and then laid down. I took her outside and let her go potty, then brought her back in.
I bought a onesie for newborns, but it isn't long enough! So i'm thinking I'm going to go back and get the next size. I've caught her trying to lick a couple times but i said something then she stopped. But i'm scared she will start licking when i am sleeping and i won't hear her in time to stop it.
She just seems very sleepy and sad. She's laying in her cage on top of my bed right next to me. I will be taking very good care of her. I'll be spending lots of time with her this weekend. I have noticed her wimpering a tiny bit when she moves around trying to get comfy in her cage. That breaks my heart. I wish it were me and not her.
She is supposed to get her staples out in 2 weeks. So until then I do have to be sure she doesn't jump on and off any furniture. That will be the hard part b/c Bailey loves to play and run and jump around a lot. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes!! I really appreciate it!
