titers are expensive....can't remember what I paid...had it done with other things...Lillies titer came back she needed the vaccine...I didn't have to pay for the shot because I had paid for the titer...

I think it is a personal decision. As we all know bringing our little ones to the vet is at least a 100.00 visit if not, more. He have to make the decision whether or not we feel it is the best interest of our animals to have all these vaccines..for me...I don't feel it's necessary...I have them get what they need...especially as puppies...the previous vet I was going to had me on a 3 yr plan for vaccines...I feel 5 yrs is just as good...think of tetanus shots...we only get them very 7 yrs...why do our pups need vaccines every year..
