| Natural Balance is manufactured at a Diamond facility; many are nervous about Diamond, many are not. It's what you are comfortable with. It's NOT a Diamond food (like Taste of the Wild, or 4health, for example). So the chicken going into NB is not the same quality chicken going into Diamond Naturals, for example.
I like NB. Some of their formulas are a bit potato-heavy, grain-heavy and lacking meat content, but that's not a big deal to some. Overall, I think the food is a nice choice for those looking for specific things, like pinpointing allergies, etc. I have fed it in the past with good results and would feed it again.
I also like that they have their Buy With Confidence which allows you to view actual laboratory results for your product by typing in your batch number.
Their Synergy formula actually looks very nice, IMO, as long as your dog doesn't have any issue with barley and some other grains.  It also includes 5 meat sources. Quote: |
