Isn't it just wonderful when they learn from a companion what certain things they were deprived of actually are! Simple things such as playing are part of their birthright. But, I know what you mean. I have seen it too, many times, and it is always a spectacular site and amazing to me. There's no such thing as a dumb animal, and I am so happy for you that she's adjusting so well after her first 1 1/2 years of life experiences. Next thing you know, they'll be snuggled up together, sleeping.
Also, I'd be interested in whether or not the duct tape holds...
