I don't know what to say about the carpet...they are probably both guilty...who knows! About the potty training, how old is Kady now? If she is still a young puppy, don't be discouraged about her not being housetrained. It takes time and for some, it takes longer than others. Be consistent and praise her again and again when she goes on the pad or outside...maybe give her a little treat as a reward. Another suggestion...maybe you could try a diaper on her...she could run around the house and you wouldn't have to worry about the carpet getting soiled, and hopefully she wouldn't wet in her diaper. Many dogs won't wet when wearing a diaper...and if she does, you could put a mini pad in it to keep from having to wash it so much.
I hope your carpet can be repaired. Maybe when you are gone, you should confine them both? I probably haven't been much help, but wanted to try because you seem frustrated and I'll say what my mom tells me when I'm frustrated..."Better days are coming!" Best wishes to you! |
