Great idea! We've had large meetups before, but they've been in cities where the focus was on people. We met in Alexandria, Va., in 2009 and had a blast. But the only time for dogs to play was a couple hours at a local dog park. The rest of the time we carried them around the hotel or a banquet area. I'd be interested in a meetup where the focus is on the dogs.
