The YTCA recommends that breeder keep puppies a minimum of 12 weeks, not only will you be more successful with housebreaking if you wait longer, but you will have less biting problems. I personally wouldn't buy from a breeder who sold that early; she hasn't studied the breed, and probably doesn't do any genetic testing. I know you are anxious, but this is something that you'll have if you’re lucky 16 years, so buying a healthy puppy is really important. Genetic illnesses can be financially and emotionally draining.
