When I first got Sophia, I wasn't sure what to do with the ID tag either. I didn't want to leave a collar on her in case it snagged on something, so I just keep her ID tag attached to the D ring on her harness, and she wears a harness around all the time. At first I thought it would bother her, but I guess the harness is comfortable and she doesn't mind
