I'd really give the gel a try. Mags LOVES having her teeth brushed with the tooth brush, but Jazzie HATES it, I don't think she's every had her teeth brushed before coming into our family. Jazzie totally excepts my putting my finger in her mouth with the gel on it though, doesn't fight me about it at all. I'm using the water additive to as an extra, all you do it mix 1 tablespoon to 16 ounces of water and pour it into their bowl.
