I hate the awkward growing-out stage! I would love for Levi to have longer facial hair and a longer topknot, but I ALWAYS cave. His bangs were flopping down in his eyes pretty badly recently - and I took him this morning to have him groomed. I can see his eyes again!
I'd really like for him to have longer hair for awhile, but I'm just way too impatient to let it get past the awkward stage.
