My vet spoke with the internal med specialists at A&M; and they said the above mentioned medication disappeared with the dinosaurs.
Anyway....there is no proof that it works. I am glad I followed my instincts and had my vet call them. Instead they suggested a once/day dose of the Nitrofurantoin (the antibiotic that she has been on that costs as much as gold
) and frequent expressing of the bladder of course. So, that is the course of action now regarding her UTIs.
