When you said breed a little, I'd thought you meant one or two litters, period- but you would need to have at least two females of age (and correct comformarion, temperment, health and pedigree) at any given time to achieve the two a year, unless your plan is to overbreed your daughters girl until she is barren? It may sound like I'm being harsh, but it does happen

Breeding isn't something to be dabbled in. I am in contact with a woman who thought breeding her family pet for the miracle of birth was a great idea... She is now nursing her momma dog back to health after a dreadful (but miraculously nonfatal) case of eclampsia, while hand raising a litter of 7. And she now knows that she was damn lucky not to lose her childrens pet in the process. Breeding, without appropriate research and preparation- as is unfortunately very frequently the case- is often more of an ordeal than a wonder.
