I develop reports for companies, using reporting tools such as Crystal Reports. I LOVE the challenge, I love learning new things, I love surprising people when I do something they didn't think I could. I love making other people's jobs easier because that is essentially what my job is all about. I love learning and growing.
I hate my job when it becomes stagnant. When I feel I am not growing is when I feel it's time to move on. 6 months ago I took a new job doing Quality Assurance on reports other people developed! Ironic! haha I don't love it and I think it's because when I find a mistake I know how I'd fix it but I can't tell the developer how to do his job, it's not my job. But there is an opening for a report developer now. If I can get into that position, with a 2 mile commute I'd be a happy girl. The pay is a perk. The pay in my career path can get well over $100,000 mark... I am nowhere near that at this point though!
I'm ok with that though.... I like to know I am EARNING every penny I make, by growing, learning and working hard!
