I was luckey with my two girls. Ruby and Bella are about 7 months apart.
When i got Bella and introduced her to Ruby, Ruby was a little stand off ish but by the end of the day they were pretty much friends. Now they are inseparable!
Just give them time. Don't force them together but eventually they'll be friends.
