My friend's dad has a male yorkie he recently bred. The puppies were born a few days ago and we went to see them today. The lady said she talked to her vet and he told her as long as everything seems ok with the pups, he doesn't need to see them for a wellness exam until he gives them their first shots at six weeks.

This seems very off to me. Shouldn't they be seen a lot sooner than that? Should I be worried?

I would be worried that 6 weeks is to young for shoots. When is she letting the puppies go to there homes?
