I have one yorkie and he is 5 months old and is about 98% house broken...he never would use the puppy pad, he always went beside it. I done the crate training and was about to give up because he would even use the potty in the crate no matter how small the space. When i was about to just give up i let him sleep with me since my hubby was on 3rd and he has been excellent ever since. We had to go somewhere the other day and i knew we would be gone for a while so i put him, his food, water, and a puppy pad in the bathroom. Well when i returned he had not gone potty anywhere and his pad was in the water bowl.
I groomed him yesterday and it took about 3 hours..the poor thing was so patient with me then when we went to bed he went down to my feet and peed all over the place...i guess it was payback for taking so long grooming bc he has never gone in the bed before. |
