Default new but welcome behavior

So, all last week me and the GF were home. Probably about 11 days worth of being home most of the time rather than being out of the house for 6 - 8 hours a day. I noticed that Jimmy has become MUCH more friendly.

he used to play play play and then go hide somewhere and pee or poop if I didn't get to him soon and really didn't want to be held much...

He is turning 6 months old soon, on the 10th, so I don't know if it's because he is growing up or growing attached.

I've been sick for the past couple of weeks too but really sick since Friday and he ALWAYS wants to be laying on me rather than playing on the floor with my other furbaby ChiChi.

So, he's following me around. Every time I stop he puts his little paws on my legs and wants to be picked up. I lay down on the couch and wants to be picked up. I go outside, he does his business and plays a bit then wants to be picked up.

Now, he is waking me up early morning by licking my nose and making yawning noises!

Not sure if this is because I'm sick or because he is falling in love with me and my girlfriend! I hope it's because he is falling in love

Anyone else notice a change in your pup at around 6 months old or so from play play to super lovey?
