I use Photoscape too. Did you go into editor? Did you put it as save as a .gif or .jpeg? Mine isn't giving the option of pdf. Not sure how you ended up there. After you resize, make sure you use save as, then click to arrow down and use .gif or .jpeg or one that is similar.
Photoscape is one of the easier ones in my opinion. Some of the others get really technical. I have used Photoshop as well.
Also, what programs does your computer have on it? Mine has Microsoft Office Picture Manager which is very user friendly. Don't know if we installed this or it came with the computer?
