Mia will jump down apparently just so I will pick her up again. She knows to either stand on hind legs for 2-handed or circle round for the 1-hand-under chest 'liff-up' and Brody plays the 'Gingerbread Man' ('catch me if you can') game. It is obvious he's playing...he goes down on front 'play' paws...with a happy expression and twinkling eyes. He'll play the game just about any time. H also will ask to be picked up...not for bed, though...then run just far enough you can't reach them, then repeat.
They both drop toys off the bed and sofas then stand with head over the edge, and look between the toy and me as if to say "fetch...good girl" then do it again after I get the toy. Brody will look back and forth between me and my water...he prefers sharing my mug...but he will look back and forth between me and his/their mug, too...wanting me to fetch the mug up from the floor so he can drink.
They are such adorable little imps...could charm a heart of stone! |
