I'm a cook at a nice hotel here. I can honestly say I love it. I have to cook in front of the guests or whoever else is sitting in the restaurant & I'm very shy so I'm proud I overcame that to succeed here.
It's also nice to work for a company I am passionate about. The owner is (allegedly

) sending my daughter to college for 4 years at any MI University, just as he's sent my lil sis. And he owns our hockey team.

It's nice to work where I feel appreciated & for a company that is not just in it for the money. I love working in hospitality & it's nice to work where the customer truly comes first all of the time. I worked in dietary at a hospital for 9 years & for the most part you're at the bottom of the totem pole & get no respect. It's nice to feel valued here. I certainly feel blessed.
