If you know a person with a sewing machine, then maybe you can get him/her make big enough buttonhole in the coat where the d-ring is on the harness. This way you can use the coats you already have over the harness. I know there are coats and shirts that are already made this way. You can also attach a d-ring (ring where the leash attaches) directly to the coats if you think they're secure enough to double as a sort of walking harness. |
